From the Gulf of Saint-Tropez*, we propose you to leave with your driver-guide to discover the heart of the Var. On board our comfortable and air-conditioned van, your local guide and expert of the wines of his region will share with you his knowledge of the area.
Between Provence and Côte d'Azur, in the heart of the Var, nature reigns less than 1 hour away from the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean and the grand canyon of the Verdon. A destination rich in sites such as the abbey of Thoronet which we will visit and in emblematic landscapes with the plain and the Maures massif which reserves many other surprises to discover.
You will start your day by discovering the Château Demonpère. A sumptuous historical estate, offering works of art facing the vineyards. In the Côtes de Provence Notre Dame des Anges appellation, the smallest georgraphical denomination of our appellation.
We will then continue our journey to the renowned Commanderie de Peyrassol, founded in the 13th century by the Templars, located in Flassans sur Issole in a historical, artistic and authentic setting. 800ha full of history that we will not fail to tell you about after your lunch in their Bistrot de Lou where you will taste 5 Provençal appetizers from their vegetable garden enhanced by the olive oil from the domain and the wines of the Commanderie.
The day will end at the Abbaye du Thoronet, one of the most remarkable abbeys of the Cîteaux order. During 1 hour, discover this monument rich in history.
Return to the Gulf of Saint-Tropez around 6pm.
