The Fascinating Weekend, an event organized from October 19 to 22, in Provence & Bandol. On October 20, in the heart of the Var, your local guide will take you on a two half-day tour of two wineries in the villages of Le Thoronet and Cabasse.
Domaine Gavoty, a family estate since 1806. The winery is located in Les Collines du Var, considered within the Côtes de Provence appellation as "the zone of extremes"; in terms of both climate and relief, this is the zone with the highest average values within the appellation. Accompanied by the owner's daughter, Virginie Bonnet Gavoty, you'll enjoy an hour-long tour, followed by a tasting of 3 to 4 wines.
Then, in the company of your driver-guide, agency manager and expert on the wines of her region, you'll continue on your way to the village of Le Thoronet. More specifically, to Domaine Saint-Louis la Manuelle, a natural setting of vines planted several decades ago, pine and olive trees. You'll be offered a short tour, followed by a "teroir tasting" - 3 wines tasted + a tapas platter to share.
